HI, I'M Grexis, THE GIRL BEHIND THE LENS

I’m a Charlotte native with Salvadoran roots and a passion for preserving life's most precious moments through photography.

Where artistry meets emotion – that's where my work lives. I believe photography has transformative power. Having personally experienced how seeing yourself through someone else's lens can heal low self-esteem, I approach each session with intention and care.

My journey to becoming a photographer wasn't traditional.

For years, I worked in the medical field, both clinically and administratively, where I learned one of life's most profound lessons: nothing is guaranteed except the present moment. During the height of COVID, I often found myself holding patients' hands when they longed for embraces from their families, listening to their stories, and looking at cherished photographs that connected them to their loved ones. These profound experiences changed me forever.

Those moments in the hospital corridors sparked something within me – a deep understanding of how photographs become lifelines, connecting us to memories, emotions, and people we cherish. I decided to dedicate my life to creating these emotional anchors for others through photography.

My goal is simple yet profound: I want you to look back at your photos and not just see beautiful images but feel exactly what you felt in those moments—every laugh, tear, embrace, and glance—captured authentically and timelessly.

I am a wife to my husband, Danny, Momma to our daughter Eloise, and dog mom to our golden retriever, Oakley. I love getting lost in a good book and firmly believe life was meant to be enjoyed.
